About me
I provide dog training and behaviour support, as well as training and certification for both assistance dog and therapy dog roles.
I also provide assessment and behaviour modification for pet dogs experiencing more severe behavioural concerns including aggression, over reactivity, resource guarding behaviours, anxiety, phobias, separation anxiety and much more.
I specialise in the training and accreditation of therapy dogs (for both professionals and community roles) as well as training and accrediting assistance dogs for a diverse range of needs. Specialising in psychiatric assistance dogs and mobility, I also train for other roles including medical alert.
All approaches to training and interactions with dogs are positive, force-free approaches, with a strong focus on consent and the welfare of our dogs at all times.
I am passionate about ensuring all interactions and training approaches with humans and their dogs are trauma-informed and neuroaffirming considered at all times.
I am a proud member of the International Institute of Animal Assisted Play Therapy and accredited under the GHAD and ACT Acts for certifying assistance dog teams. To find out more about me please feel free to check out the ‘about’ tab to learn more about my qualifications and training.
