About us
We are a professional and experienced dog training and behaviour service based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
With a history of helping dogs and their owners for over 17+ years in everything from puppy school training for pet dogs to assistance dog training and everything in between, you can be confident you’re getting the right advice.
We are also experts in working with dogs experiencing more severe behavioural concerns including aggression, over reactivity, resource guarding behaviours, anxiety, phobias, separation anxiety and much more.
We are specialists in the training and accreditation of both therapy dogs (for both professionals and volunteer roles) as well as registered to train and accredit assistance dogs for public access. We specialise in psychiatric assistance dogs and mobility but also train for other roles so please reach out if you have any questions regarding your needs.
We are passionate about dogs and their owners receiving expert advice for their dog’s training, and addressing any concerns regarding their behaviour, mental health and well-being.
We are a force-free training and behaviour modification service. What does that mean? We do not use any aversive tools in our training. We only use non-aversive methods of behaviour change and train using rewards-based methods. We are proud members of the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants and accredited under the ACT for accrediting assistance dog teams. To find out more about me please feel free to check out the ‘about’ tab to learn more about my qualifications and training.
